Nematological Diagnostics


Within soil-dwelling organisms, we emphasize nematodes. Our activities include the determination and identification of free-living and plant-parasitic nematodes based on morphological features from soil and plant (mainly root) samples. This helps assess the impact and effectiveness of human interventions (cultivation methods, plant protection treatments) on target and non-target organisms.
