Behavioral Ecology, Bird Monitoring
Significant experience in the nesting of European songbirds, especially cavity-nesting species. Studies seek answers to questions related to the life history strategy of birds: mate selection, nesting, and habitat selection, reproductive success, survival. We examine the effects of various environmental factors and nesting parameters on bird survival, as well as their dispersion (how far they nest from their previous year's nesting site or how far they go from where they were born), and their relationship with climate change. In addition, studies on bird community on different areas are also performed: species composition, quantitative relationships, and their changes over time, monitoring.
